Refund Policy
Welcome to CodeHaven.Online, your digital haven for all things coding! Our platform is designed to offer a seamless experience for both creators and users. In the spirit of transparency, we’ve outlined the following guidelines to govern your interactions with creators on our platform:
- Digital Goods and Refunds: Keep in mind that the products offered by creators on our platform are digital goods, and as such, they cannot be “returned.” Our refund policy is tailored to accommodate the unique nature of digital products, with due consideration for local refund laws in your country.
- Seek Creator Assistance First: If you encounter technical issues with items purchased from our “Web Themes and Templates” or “Code” categories, we encourage you to first reach out to the creator directly for assistance. They often possess the expertise to troubleshoot and resolve your issues effectively.
- Requesting Refunds via CodeHaven.Online: While we expect creators to provide assistance, there may be situations where a refund is necessary. Here are the circumstances in which we expect creators to grant refunds:
- The item is “not as described” or doesn’t function as intended.
- The item contains a security vulnerability.
- Promised item support is not provided as per the support policy.
- The item support extension was not utilized.
- Items that haven’t been downloaded within the specified timeframe.
- Resolving Disputes: If an item doesn’t perform as intended, the creator’s responsibility is to promptly address the issue by providing an update. If the issue persists, and the item significantly deviates from its description, you are entitled to a refund from the creator.
In the case of a security vulnerability that cannot be easily patched, a refund should be issued. If a fix is feasible, the creator should implement it without delay. Failure to address a security vulnerability within a reasonable timeframe should result in a refund.
If a creator commits to providing support but fails to do so, a refund should be issued.
For item support extensions, if you request a refund before your existing support entitlement expires, the creator should refund the extension fee.
If you haven’t downloaded a purchased item within a specified period, you may be eligible for a refund. Verification may require providing the creator with your purchase code.
In situations where you and the creator cannot reach an agreement regarding a refund, you have the option to raise a dispute, and CodeHaven.Online will investigate. Any refund issued by CodeHaven.Online is at our discretion based on all available information.
- Non-Refundable Situations: It’s important to note that neither CodeHaven.Online nor creators are obligated to provide refunds in the following scenarios:
- You simply no longer want the item after downloading it.
- The item doesn’t meet your expectations or you perceive it as low quality.
- You’ve changed your mind.
- A purchase was made in error.
- You lack the expertise to utilize the item effectively.
- You claim a refund entitlement without providing sufficient supporting information.
- You lose access to the item due to removal or the creator’s inactivity (promptly downloading items after purchase is recommended to avoid such situations).
At CodeHaven.Online, we are committed to fostering a fair and transparent ecosystem for creators and users. Your trust is invaluable, and we aim to provide a hassle-free experience for all your digital needs. Welcome to a coding haven where transparency meets excellence!
